The University of Maryland, Baltimore is committed to provide faculty and staff with access to work life and wellness resources to enhance health and well-being. Below are work-life, wellness, and other resources that are currently available to all UMB employees.
Launch Your Life
Launch Your Life is an exciting new program that has been designed to incorporate and promote the health and wellness of the University faculty and staff. Launch Your Life includes all of the health and work life balance resources that the University offers to its employees to help them live a better life.
A component of Launch Your Life will be a new wellness portal. The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) is partnering with an outside vendor, Wellness Corporate Solutions (WCS), to provide eligible employees with a robust wellness program that includes a portal for employees to track their health progress, access many health resources, and earn rewards. Employees will need to enroll in this program to participate.
Lactation Support and Education Programs
UMB is proud to host seven Lactation Centers currently on the campus. Any nursing mother who is a UMB affiliate (faculty, staff, student) can utilize these centers. Mothers must contact the facility’s Lactation Liaison to obtain information on how to use the lactation center. Please click on the link below to access Lactation Support and Education Programs.
UMB School of Pharmacy P3 Program (Patients, Pharmacists, Partnership)
The P3 Program is a free medication management program that is offered through the UMB School of Pharmacy. This program is available to all regular employees. Please click on the link below to access the P3 Program (Patients, Pharmacists, Partnership).
Smoking Cessation Programs
This service is managed by an outside vendor. Because smoking is the most preventable cause of premature death in the United States, Launch Your Life urges all smokers to go through smoking cessation sessions. Over a few sessions, certified smoking cessation consultants will discuss the many aspects of quitting, including the different types of products that can increase your chances of quitting for good.

Weight Watchers at Work
The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) has invited University of Maryland, Baltimore employees to participate in their Weight Watcher’s at Work Program. The Weight Watchers at Work program is available to faculty and staff at a reduced rate. This program is available to all regular employees.
